Pupil Health and Wellbeing
The school aims to provide a safe, caring and supportive learning environment for pupils in Grades 1–5. Teachers and staff should respond sensitively to health concerns and notify parents when further attention is needed.
শিক্ষার্থী স্বাস্থ্য ও কল্যাণ
বিদ্যালয় ১ম–৫ম শ্রেণির শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য নিরাপদ, যত্নশীল ও সহায়ক শিক্ষার পরিবেশ নিশ্চিত করতে সচেষ্ট। শিক্ষক ও কর্মীরা স্বাস্থ্যসংক্রান্ত উদ্বেগে সংবেদনশীলভাবে সাড়া দেবেন এবং প্রয়োজন হলে অভিভাবকদের জানাবেন।
Personal Hygiene and Cleanliness
Pupils are encouraged to wash their hands with soap, particularly after using the toilet and before eating, and to attend school in clean clothing. Staff will reinforce age-appropriate hygiene habits respectfully.
ব্যক্তিগত স্বাস্থ্যবিধি ও পরিচ্ছন্নতা
শিক্ষার্থীদের বিশেষ করে শৌচাগার ব্যবহারের পর এবং খাবারের আগে সাবান দিয়ে হাত ধোয়া ও পরিষ্কার পোশাকে বিদ্যালয়ে আসতে উৎসাহিত করা হয়। কর্মীরা সম্মানজনকভাবে বয়সোপযোগী স্বাস্থ্যবিধি শেখাবেন।
Illness, Fever and Infectious Conditions
Parents should keep children at home when they are unwell, have a fever or may have a contagious illness, and inform the school promptly. A child who becomes unwell at school will be supervised while parents or authorised contacts are notified and suitable collection arrangements are made. Return to school should follow medical advice where applicable.

শিশু অসুস্থ, জ্বরে আক্রান্ত বা সংক্রামক রোগে আক্রান্ত হওয়ার আশঙ্কা থাকলে অভিভাবকদের তাকে বাড়িতে রাখতে এবং দ্রুত বিদ্যালয়কে জানাতে হবে। বিদ্যালয়ে অসুস্থ হলে অভিভাবক বা অনুমোদিত যোগাযোগব্যক্তিকে জানিয়ে উপযুক্তভাবে শিশুকে নিয়ে যাওয়ার ব্যবস্থা না হওয়া পর্যন্ত তত্ত্বাবধান করা হবে। প্রযোজ্য ক্ষেত্রে চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী বিদ্যালয়ে ফিরতে হবে।
First Aid and Medical Emergencies
Staff should provide assistance within their training and available resources. In a serious emergency, the school will seek appropriate medical help without avoidable delay and contact parents as soon as practicable. The school does not replace professional medical care.

Medication and Parental Authorisation
Parents must inform the school in advance if a pupil needs medication during school hours. Medication should not be administered by school staff without appropriate written parental instructions and authorisation, except where urgent action is necessary to protect life or health. Any agreed arrangements must be confirmed with the school.
ওষুধ ও অভিভাবকের অনুমোদন
বিদ্যালয় চলাকালে কোনো শিক্ষার্থীর ওষুধ প্রয়োজন হলে অভিভাবকদের আগেই জানাতে হবে। জীবন বা স্বাস্থ্য রক্ষায় জরুরি ব্যবস্থা প্রয়োজন হওয়া ছাড়া উপযুক্ত লিখিত নির্দেশনা ও অভিভাবকের অনুমোদন ব্যতীত বিদ্যালয়ের কর্মীরা ওষুধ দেবেন না। সম্মত ব্যবস্থাগুলো বিদ্যালয়ের সঙ্গে নিশ্চিত করতে হবে।
Allergies, Medical Conditions and Emergency Contacts
Parents must provide accurate and current emergency telephone numbers and disclose relevant allergies, medical conditions and essential care instructions. Updates should be reported promptly. Health information will be handled sensitively and shared only with those who need it for the child’s safety and care.
অ্যালার্জি, স্বাস্থ্যগত অবস্থা ও জরুরি যোগাযোগ
অভিভাবকদের সঠিক ও হালনাগাদ জরুরি ফোন নম্বর এবং প্রাসঙ্গিক অ্যালার্জি, স্বাস্থ্যগত অবস্থা ও প্রয়োজনীয় যত্নের নির্দেশনা দিতে হবে। পরিবর্তন হলে দ্রুত জানাতে হবে। শিশুর নিরাপত্তা ও যত্নের প্রয়োজনে সংশ্লিষ্ট ব্যক্তিদের মধ্যেই স্বাস্থ্যতথ্য সীমিত রাখা হবে।
Drinking Water, Food Safety and Healthy Eating
Pupils should have access to safe drinking water and follow hygienic food practices. Parents are encouraged to provide suitable, nutritious food and to tell the school about food allergies or dietary restrictions. Food must not be shared where doing so could create an allergy risk.

Clean Classrooms, Washrooms and Facilities
The school aims to maintain clean classrooms, washrooms and shared spaces. Pupils are expected to use facilities responsibly, dispose of waste properly and report hygiene concerns to a teacher or member of staff.

Parent Notification, Supervision and Safe Collection
Parents will be contacted when a pupil is ill or injured and requires attention. A pupil who needs to go home must be released only to an authorised collector in accordance with the school’s identification, handover and collection procedures: NO ID CARD — NO CHILD RELEASE · NO EXCEPTIONS.

কোনো শিক্ষার্থী অসুস্থ বা আহত হলে এবং ব্যবস্থা প্রয়োজন হলে অভিভাবককে জানানো হবে। বাড়ি পাঠানোর প্রয়োজন হলে বিদ্যালয়ের পরিচয় যাচাই, হস্তান্তর ও সংগ্রহের নিয়ম অনুসারে কেবল অনুমোদিত ব্যক্তির কাছেই শিক্ষার্থীকে দেওয়া হবে: পরিচয়পত্র ছাড়া শিশু হস্তান্তর নয়—কোনো ব্যতিক্রম নয়।
Shared Responsibilities and Safeguarding
Teachers and staff must report health and safety concerns through school procedures. Parents should keep contact and medical information current and cooperate with reasonable health guidance. Any safeguarding concern should be handled under the school’s Child Safeguarding and Protection Policy.

শিক্ষক ও কর্মীদের বিদ্যালয়ের নিয়ম অনুসারে স্বাস্থ্য ও নিরাপত্তার উদ্বেগ জানাতে হবে। অভিভাবকদের যোগাযোগ ও চিকিৎসাসংক্রান্ত তথ্য হালনাগাদ রাখতে এবং যুক্তিসংগত স্বাস্থ্য নির্দেশনায় সহযোগিতা করতে হবে। শিশু সুরক্ষার যেকোনো উদ্বেগ বিদ্যালয়ের শিশু সুরক্ষা নীতিমালা অনুযায়ী পরিচালিত হবে।
